Lovable vs Replit vs Base44

Short version: Base44 has the lowest paid price, $16 a month if you pay for the year. Replit Core is $20 a month and gives you a hosted workspace with a database. Lovable Pro is $25 a month, but every Lovable plan lets a whole team share one subscription. Lovable and Base44 have free plans. Replit's pricing page doesn't show one.

All three build an app from a plain-language description. Lovable says you can "chat to instantly build websites and web apps, with no technical knowledge needed." Base44 says it builds "the full thing: frontend, backend, database, user auth, payments." Replit says you "describe what you want in natural language, then create, launch, and grow apps, sites, tools, and businesses in one place."

Prices are in US dollars, before tax. Checked October 27, 2026 on each company's pricing page: Lovable (opens in a new tab), Replit (opens in a new tab) and Base44 (opens in a new tab).

The three count usage in different units: Lovable in credits, Replit in credits plus Free Mode chat time, and Base44 in message and integration credits. So the paid plans can't be lined up one to one. The quickest fair test is to give two of them the same prompt.

Where Lovable wins

Watch out for: unused monthly credits expire two months after they're issued, and the daily free credits don't roll over.

Where Replit wins

Watch out for: there's no free plan on the pricing page, and the jump from Core to Pro is $80 a month.

Where Base44 wins

Watch out for: the free plan stops at 5 apps, and the $16 price needs a yearly commitment.
