Lovable Alternatives

Short version: Bolt.new is the closest swap and costs the same $25 a month. Base44 has the lowest paid price here, $16 a month if you pay for the year. Replit gives you a hosted workspace and database from $20. v0 fits if your site already runs on Vercel. And if you don't mind seeing the code, Claude Code comes with a $20 Claude Pro plan.

Why people look around: Lovable bills in credits, and a credit doesn't buy a fixed amount of work. In its default mode, Lovable says "credits vary based on task complexity": about half a credit for "Make the button gray" and 1.7 for a landing page with generated images. Pro gives you 100 credits a month for $25, and unused monthly credits expire two months after they're issued. We compared Lovable with Bolt.new in detail here.

Prices are in US dollars, before tax. Checked October 27, 2026 on each company's pricing page: Lovable (opens in a new tab), Bolt.new (opens in a new tab), Base44 (opens in a new tab), Replit (opens in a new tab), v0 (opens in a new tab) and Claude (opens in a new tab).

Credits, tokens and messages aren't the same unit, so the paid plans can't be lined up one to one. The fair test is to give two of them the same prompt and watch how fast each meter moves.

The options

Bolt.new. The closest match to Lovable: you describe an app in chat, and Bolt builds and hosts it. Pro is $25 a month, the same as Lovable Pro, with 10M tokens a month, no daily limit and unused tokens that roll over. The free plan includes website hosting and unlimited databases, with Bolt branding on your sites. Bolt says most token use comes from syncing your project's files to the AI, so bigger projects use more tokens per message. Teams is $30 per member a month.

Base44. Base44 describes itself as a no-code AI platform that builds the frontend, backend, database, user sign-in and payments from a plain-language description. Starter is $16 a month billed yearly for 100 message credits, and you can connect your own domain. The free plan gives you 25 message credits a month and up to 5 apps. GitHub integration starts on Builder, $40 a month billed yearly.

Replit. A hosted workspace where Replit Agent builds and runs the app. Core is $20 a month ($18 billed yearly) and includes $20 toward more powerful models plus up to 30 hours of chat on Free Mode. Pro, $100 a month, adds 10 parallel agents, up to 15 collaborators and database rollback for up to 28 days. Its pricing page doesn't show a free plan.

v0. Vercel's builder. Even the free plan deploys to Vercel and syncs with GitHub, with a limit of 7 messages a day. Plus is $30 per user a month with $30 of monthly credits and $2 of free credits each day you log in. Business is $100 per user. Like Bolt Teams, it charges per person, which adds up for a team.

Claude Code. A different kind of tool: Anthropic's coding agent works in your terminal, on code that lives on your machine. It comes with Claude Pro at $20 a month ($17 billed yearly) and shares your plan's usage limits with chat. It isn't on the free plan. It suits you if you're ready to run commands and deploy the app yourself. Our guide to Cursor alternatives and what they cost covers more tools like it.
